People have always danced – all over the world and at all times. We dance in endless variations, on all sorts of occasions, and across cultures. The exhibition has tapped into the wealth of knowledge accumulated by many disciplines in order to convey the experience of the dynamic and dramatic tensions of dance. Visitors were invited to take this dance course, both literally and figuratively, and gain a deeper understanding of dance as a part of human nature, and of what moves us to dance.
